Neophyte Records welcomes Restrained

27.05.2016

Today, we proudly welcome an incredbly talented producer to the Neophyte Records crew! Born April 6, 1992, Terence de Jong discovered his passion for the Hardcore sound after visiting parties across the Netherlands. Events such as Masters of Hardcore, Q-BASE, Harmony of Hardcore and Defqon.1 struck home, and it wasn’t long before the desire to make music took over. With full focus on producing, he became addicted to every element of the process, discovering sounds and moving further with each musical endeavour.

2015 saw an incredible string of highlights for the talented Dutch producer. Beginning the year with a bang, he was crowned the winner of our Infected by Madness remix competition. Continuing to strive for perfection in the studio paid off, resulting in a feature on the famed This is Hardcore album and a highly popular free release entitled “Russian Roulette”. His musical achievements earned him a spot at Decibel Outdoor Festival, at which he destroyed the Hardcore4life crowd.

His climb to the top is gathering pace in 2016, and we are pleased to welcome him to our roster. Kicking things off with an incredible 3 track EP and receiving support from some of the scene’s biggest names, it’s clear to see things are moving fast for Restrained. Keep your eyes open for more music, performances and exciting things to come!

On Friday, May 27th, "Gangsters" premeires in the Evil Activities - Extreme Audio podcast. So make sure you tune in at 9PM CET sharp to catch the first play!
